Day 7: The Lunatic Farmer

This will be a short post, but hey, we just got home from listening to one of the wisest men on the planet, Mr. Joel Salatin.  He calls himself the Lunatic Farmer, but I think he's got things figured out.

He's become quite the influencer with his "strange" ideas that everything works together in nature, or should.

Speaking all over the place, writing books, writing columns for Mother Earth News and other publications-he's become quite well known.

Most impressively, he says he can gut a chicken in 20 seconds. And all you need to seal a leaky pond is some hogs to root and wallow around the edge of it.

And if your cheese won't grow mold, it's dead and won't do you a bit of good!

Yep, pretty revolutionary ideas, but they are catching on.
